This Amazing Review is Not On Fire!

Hello Internet!
Following the reviews of Girl Online and Username:Evie, here's another Youtuber book review...Yep you guessed it right! It's TABINOF or for those who aren't part of the phandom 'The Amazing Book Is Not On Fire' by Dan Howell and Phil Lester.Dan and Phil are by far one of my favorite youtubers and the moment I saw their book trailer I knew I had to read this!
This book definitely lives up to its title! It's amazing and didn't catch fire...yet...
So let's start from the start.Just looking at the cover can tell you that this book is going to be just as crazy and fun as they are.And while it does have the tagline 'The World Of Dan and Phil' you don't need to be their fan to read this. In fact if you're just curious about who these people are then this book is the perfect place to start! It doesn't take much to get you hooked on to the book..I didn't even reach past the dedication and I knew I would be pulling an all-nighter with this one..
I think the reason that makes it so interesting is that it's not the biography of a youtuber or a work of fiction by one either. This is literally their world mould into a book! It starts right from their births and goes on telling their story of how they became the people we now know them as.
I love how instead of just narrating their past they decide to make it more personal and authentic by adding pages from their diaries and dream journals.(If you're reading this Dan...I hope you're working on your handwriting..XD) You don't just get a glimpse into their lives but right into their minds with pages like Going Deep and Brain Farts(yep..that's an actual thing).
But I think the best part is that you don't just read this book..you can hear them telling you about their adventures in Japan and Vegas (I still don't think the mafia was involved..) and urging you to find out what dining chair you are (I'm the orange one!)
Then of course there's the Phanga and the Phanart and the Phanfics( The Urge and The Hand...like seriously guys...)
Now if you still don't think you should read this book, here's a piece of advice: Go read this book!
If you're not interested in Dan and Phil you might still learn a lot of things like how to breed hamsters or advice on starting a Youtube channel and most importantly How to draw the perfect Cat Whiskers!
So go pick up this extremely aesthetically appealing book on which these young men have obviously worked so hard!
Or if you have already read it then tell us what your reaction was in the comments below!
See you all soon!
Till Then,

Ooooh! A Graphic Novel

Hello Readers,
How have you guys been, its been quite a few days since our last post. Let's see what I have got for you lovelies today! Shall we?
A graphic novel according to me is an alternative creative universe that I would  love to travel every day if you'd allow me. And there wasn't anything wrong about other kind of books, but these books captivated me as a young girl with its colors and the message boxes.
I recently read a graphic novel by a Youtuber..... I know you might be thinking here's another antisocial person who sits in front of Youtube the entire day, but guess what its up to you what you watch and why you watch. I watch in search of creativity, and this guy called Joe Sugg also known as Thatcher Joe is crazy and has got a rather weirdly tuned mind, I suppose. He's written or rather, crafted the graphic novel called 'Username Evie'.

Evie is a very lonely girl who doesn't seem to fit in any of the groups in her class and is not even close to being as popular as her cousin (who hates her, BTW). Evie's dad in his last days dedicated his entire time to create an ESCAPE for his daughter, which Evie takes a while to figure out, and once she does she doesn't want to stop. E.scape was  programmed to evolve the way the visitors of the place thought or felt. So, if you are angry then you see that the people in the program are angry too. Evie and her cousin land in this world creating different types of people and the stronger your emotion, more massive is the response. But once a creature is evolved it can't change the way it feels, it continues to grow the same way as the first wave of emotion that hit it. So with all this happening there's hope for Evie to meet her virtual dad if she makes it to the finish of E.scape.
Will she make it?What troubles does she face as she searches for her father?Does she really escape the real world into this virtual space of her own? Is it even her own?
Read the Novel to find out about it! I've always loved graphic novels and this one didn't let me down. Good job book, you lived to my expectations! I surely suggest you to read this book.It might open new doors for us, wonders could happen.
Share your thoughts with me!
Until next time,

Girl Online Review

Hello Readers,
It's been a long time since we began,
I thought let's be more punctual with the posts and to begin with let's start with a sweet book review, to welcome a precious New Year.
Girl Online is a novel by a well known, British Beauty Youtuber, Zoe Sugg who goes by the name of Zoella to her fans. She has over 9.7 million subscribers and a ton of awards in her name.
Girl Online has a typical across the sea love story with a modern twist. The story evolves around Penny - a teenage girl with a passion of photography who is a bit clumsy and anxious  (a lot actually).
As she faces the world, she struggles to deal with her school, friends and "adolescence" in general.
But Zoe makes the readers love the character as she is an inspiring blogger who has her identity covered, and goes by the name Girl Online.
She created the blog as that seemed the only place she could truly express and be herself (excluding her gay best friend Elliot, who has to deal with him family's parenting issues). She keeps herself out of public events as she suffers from strokes at weird times leading her to blank out and faint. And she later realizes this is a phenomena called "panic attack", which started since her family experienced a frightening car crash.
Slowly her blog earns fame and she's happy to share her experience with her readers and accept their unconditional support. But when Penny gets an opportunity to take a picture for her school play, she accidentally fell off the stage, flashing her knickers, which soon becomes viral throughout the Internet.
Penny learns it the hard way that a lot of hate goes around the internet, it just catches like forest fire.
Once her parents and her brother Tom hear about this they help her out by planning to go to New York for Christmas Eve as Penny's mother is a wedding planner and she has to arrange a "Downtown Abbey" themed wedding at very posh hotel. The family go along with Elliot to NY but Tom couldn't make it, and Penny soon falls in love with Noah in the trip, even though she has no clue about his identity.
After the holiday romance, she figures out that Noah is a famous musician with a huge YouTube fan following, and supposedly has a girlfriend who is a very famous pop singer. And this information about Noah and Penny becomes viral, which makes Penny hate the Internet, and she vows never to go online again.
Girl offline... Never going online xxx
With Elliot facing his family after coming out, Penny struggling with her love life and enmity from all her friends, Noah who is now angry at Penny as he believes she failed him things take a turn but this time for good or bad?? Read the book to figure that out!
This book allows a teenager to feel vulnerable, strong, independent, clumsy, anxious, and to also be aware of the Internet and bad company as friends, is all okay and its part of your life. This book might be too sweet to be true but it allows you to dream and inspires you to blog.
Personally I love blogging so I was connected to the book throughout. And the second book Girl Online: On Tour is out now too.So comment below if you want me to write a review about it. Or any other book you want a review of.
Happy New Year readers..
Until next time,

Magnus Chase Sword of Summer Review

Hello readers,
The latest creation by Uncle Rick has been out for a while now and if you haven't read it, go pick it up right NOW!! Or read this review if you need more inspiration....
Firstly can I just say that I really really missed the first person POVs and quirky chapter titles!! It was really nice to hear Magnus' own thoughts. I like how he's older than most Riordan characters in their first books. It makes him more relatable to the readers who have been following Rick right since Percy Jackson was out..
Speaking of Magnus himself, he is awesome!! He's smart, sarcastic and funny. Plus, he's a nerd and proud of it! Also...he looks like Kurt Cobain. It's also interesting how he is fine with the fact that his dad can't be with him right from the start...there's  no hard feelings between them.

The other characters are really great too. They are all so different from each other and yet their team together  is amazing! They all just know to help each other with their flaws so well. Samirah , Blitz and Heath are part of the A-team but the others at Valhalla are just as enjoyable!
There's also the Sword of Summer a.k.a Jack. He talks!!
While Jack is probably even more powerful than Riptide, it's Magnus' strength and will that will ultimately decide its fate at Ragnarok!
Speaking of characters, there were definitely some I couldn't wait to see: the Norse Gods.
Loki in the book is just as charming as expected but in a very 'not-Tom Hiddlestony' way. His character plays a pretty big role and I'm sure we'll get to see him a lot in the next few books. He's got big plans in his head and I just can't wait to see them unravel.
Thor, on the other hand is very different from what I imagined. Less Chris Hemsworth and more like Merida's dad from 'Brave'...Who would have thought the Mighty Thor would be interested in Sherlock, Arrow and the Game of Thrones..So we have to interpret his character right from scratch...It would be really interesting to see how he develops through the series.
The plot itself is very engrossing and I couldn't stop myself from reading it all in one go!Then there was an epilogue!(more like another cliffhanger)But atleast it was called an epilogue. There are also a bunch of PJO references which take you back to the good old days...and then there's Annabeth!
I really wish she had a bigger role in this book that would kind of redeem her character from Blood of Olympus. I really loved Annabeth's character but I don't want to see her be the one who talks herself out of her troubles...So there's just that one thing I hope was different...

Overall though..It was PERFECT!!
Like I said, if you haven't read it do it now!
Then tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
See you soon,

The book is phenomenal, the movie is true to the book.
Both the Insurgent book and the movie keeps you thrilled. Each page brings new questions and creates suspense and a conundrum about the future.
It's  action packed mysterious story. Veronica Roth to attract the readers with her words very well. She makes you believe in the world she has created!!

Meanwhile, Jeanine's hunt for Divergents is still on. Peter and Caleb join back Erudite. Four's mother is found to be alive and is the leader of the armed Factionless. Maze Runner Review

Hello reader,
So, a few weeks ago my friends and I went to see The Maze Runner movie and we loved it. So, I couldn't help but read the book. Well, it was even better than the movie. So here's what I think about it:
Firstly, the book is waayy different from the movie because it is filled with so many details that make
it so fun to read.It features the adventures of a group of teens stuck in maze filled with creatures of the dark and how they embark on the seemingly impossible mission to get out of there. It is a quite fast paced book and the plot just keeps thickening as each chapter gets over.Even after watching the movie, I found the book filled with suspense and twists. The characters also seem to have their very own vocabulary which feels annoying in the beginning but you get used to it after a while.Thomas'(the protagonist) feelings and fears have been expressed very well and the other characters also have distinct personalities. On the whole, is filled with adventure, mystery and suspense and once the book ends, you just become even more eager to read the next one.
So, run and grab the book and then start reading it!It's definitely more fun than watching the movie.
If you have done both, share your experience with us in the comments!
Till then Read, Write and Relish!!

Blood of Olympus Review

Hello reader,
I've been busy reading lately. So after a year long wait, I finally finished Blood of Olympus-the last book of The Heroes of Olympus. As usual, most Percy Jackson fans must have finished reading this but for those who haven't, here's the review:
The books starts of a little after the end of House of Hades. The seven demigods have to face a large number of obstacles as they try to reach Athens to stop Gaia before the Feast of Spes. On the other hand, war is raging between the two demigod camps and it is up to Reyna, Nico and Coach Hedge to deliver the Athena Parthenos to camp Half-Blood to stop the war and unite the gods. The book shifts between Jason, Piper, Leo,Reyna and Nico's P.O.V.There is a lot of character development for them but unfortunately very little of Percy and Annabeth is seen in the book. The book does have many plot twists but it seemed predictable in a few places due to the subtle hints across the series. The humor is much more developed and does not seem out of place anymore.Overall, it is a fitting end to the series and honestly, it couldn't have been any better(though I wish it was longer!!).
So if you haven't read it yet, please go ahead and read it while I go ponder upon what the epilogue could have been (if there was one)
If you have read it, tell us what you feel about it in the comments below.

Asgardians are coming to Boston

Hello reader,
Whoa! It's been a really long time right? Well, there's so much to catch up with but before I do that, here's some news I couldn't wait to share!
The 'Myth Master' Rick Riordan has revealed the name of his new series based on....Yep, you got it, It's based on Norse mythology! So get ready to see Thor and Loki in "MAGNUS CHASE AND THE GODS OF ASGARD"!!
While much about the series has not been revealed about the series, what we do know is the title of the first book is to revealed in 'Blood of Olympus' and the series is most probably set in Boston!
Also...the great suspense........How is Magnus Chase related to another Chase girl we know (It's not Kiara Chase, unfortunately)I'm talking about Annabeth. Rick says that they are related but to find out how, we'd have to wait for another year.
So Magnus Chase, Annabeth Chase, there are definitely going to be a lot of chases!!
Any idea how they are related? Tell us in the comments below. And don't forget to watch out for more fun coming soon!
Till then, Read, Write and Relish!!

Word War 1

Hello reader,
Did you know it was Arthur Conan Doyle's birthday on 22nd? Well, since this month is in his honor, our very first 'Word War' is also dedicated to him.
If you remember, in one of our earlier posts I had mentioned how Arthur Conan Doyle would have considered himself a failure if he was alive now.So to start off our word war, here's my question:

Do you really think that Arthur Conan Doyle is a failure and that other detective fiction novels are better than the Holmes series?

In my opinion, Doyle was a very prolific writer. His other books are probably not so famous because Holmes completely overshadowed them but that doesn't mean they are not good.
As for Holmes itself, Doyle never took long to write them as he considered his other works much more important and even then the stories are so good.Imagine how awesome they would have been if he would have paid more attention to them!
What's your opinion in the matter? Do you disagree and think that other fictional detectives are much better than Holmes? Tell us in the comments below and Let the word war begin!

The Lost World Review

Hello reader,
So, you might know that it's Arthur Conan Doyle's birthday next week. That's why, I would like to shine some light on one of his works 'The Lost World'.Here's a review:
'The Lost World' features one of Doyle's other popular character-Professor Challenger. He has just returned from a trip to South America and claims to proof of the existence of dinosaurs in the modern world. While most people consider this utter nonsense, one journalist (the narrator) decides to give him a chance to prove himself and he along with Professor Challenger and two other people set out on journey to the lost world. There they not only encounter dinosaurs but also other creatures (I'm not telling which, it'll spoil the suspense).
This book is a short read like the Holmes novels but is still action packed and wonderfully narrated-another masterpiece from Doyle. The characters are all different from one another and Challenger's arguments add a touch of humour to the book. Also, the well developed characters do a great job of showing certain sides of human nature. And if all that is not enough, you could also learn a thing or two about the prehistoric world from this book.
This book would be loved by fans of Jurassic Park ( did you know that one of it's titles was inspired by this book?)You could also read it if you just want to see some not-so heroic characters going on an epic adventure. So, I suggest, that you grab this book and start reading.
